Here’s a spring-themed, somewhat whimsical idea for a table setting. It also doubles as a focus point for the reason of the season. (No, it’s not just about bunnies and chocolate!)
When I speak and display my books, I usually bring some bird-themed items (nests and faux birds) to tie in with my Wings of Mercy book. My mother also had some realistic, imitation birds she used in flower arrangements. I put them together with scriptures printed out to make an Easter/spring themed table. What would really make this “Wow” is if you had pussy willow branches or flowering fruit tree branches as well to add (I didn’t). Many craft stores sell imitation nests, or at the end of fall season I look for abandoned nests in trees.
You’ll notice I have Mason jars for candle votives. I couldn’t find my nice/fancy ones, but with the lights turned out and the candles lit, who cares? It doesn’t have to be fancy to be meaningful and memorable. It doesn’t take much to make a meal or an event special. Happy Resurrection Day!
